This chimney had badly spalled
bricks and top damage as a result
of "The Painted Chimney Syndrome" (see info
article on this subject) We
rebuilt the damged areas and cut out and replaced bricks below the rebuilt area
We completely rebuilt this spiral chimney after it was struck by lightning and rolled down the slate roof causing $20,000
damage to the roof on the way down. Some chunks rolled 30 feet away from the house.
